On a mission to do better.
Hi, I’m Ericka!
Popcorn has always been my family’s favorite snack. One day, years ago, I opened a bag of store bought microwave popcorn and took a good hard look at what was inside. It looked gross. It didn’t look anything like butter—because it wasn’t butter. I couldn’t believe that my family had been eating this for years. And that’s when I decided to start making my own homemade popcorn using only clean ingredients. After years of perfecting my stovetop recipes, I found a way to put them in a microwave popcorn bag, and Dundee Popcorn was born.
When you buy my popcorn, you can be assured that you’re always getting the real deal. Dundee Popcorn is made in small batches and not with butter flavor. Just butter. Always. We don’t use any single use plastics and every batch is locally made in Omaha. Our flavors are delicious and always no-fuss. No extra steps or seasoning packets. Just put your bag in the microwave and boom–you have a hot and delicious snack that you and your whole family will love.

When I’m in the kitchen, I cook the butter until the milkfats solidify. Once that happens, I strain them out and what remains is ghee or clarified butter, which is what I use in each bag of popcorn, along with popcorn and seasoning for flavor.

I’ve had my recipes tested for safety and approved for over three months, beginning from the day I cook the butter.
